MASLAB Autonomous Robot

Autonomous robot design in Mobile Autonomous Systems Laboratory. Won 1st place with a grand prize of $2,000. Robot featured a rack and pinion gear driven elevator with a claw attached, also extending arms, and dual mounted cameras for vision. Raspberry Pi 5 deployed pathfinding, object detection through Ultralytics YOLOv11 with models trained in Roboflow.

Continuous servo with a gear drove the rack and pinion elevator with an extended claw design to hold cans to stack. Had two 10.25 inch extending arms to catch cans at the start of the round.
